a ring ceremony

It’s been a blink, but we’ve just celebrated my daughter’s ring ceremony. Who knew we’d be three quarters of the way through university already?

I feel like it was five minutes ago that my husband and I were staring at my pregnant tummy with joy (and a titch of terror, lol) imagining all that was to come. We had no idea. It’s been even better than we could have ever possibly imagined.

But boy it’s been such a short journey between then and now.

I am so grateful to have so many portraits of the big milestones of her life (you know, so far). I love all of the silly, goofy, funny, sweet images of her during so many little day to day moments, those are truly priceless; but I am so grateful that over the years we take the time to celebrate her at that particular moment in time. Having portraits to look back on is such a gift. Even when I take them at Clemson and not at a Cape Cod beach like my usual MO. 🙂

Couldn’t be prouder of this lovely daughter of ours. I can’t wait to see what happens in the next blink…
