fall (in love with the Cape)

I love this time of year, maybe not today, when it’s bucketing down rain and windy and all kinds of chilly, but most days… The landscape is so different than summer. There are new things to discover every time I venture into the dunes or even in my backyard.

The other day, because I’m me, I was mesmerized by Hygroponic Earthstars. Because why wouldn’t I be? They’re like little flowers strewn in your path as you wander through the dunes.

I love those, what are they?  We have nothing like that in Blighty I don’t think xReplyCancel

    • Hello Mouse! They’re a type of mushroom, that explodes into tiny stars as part of their life cycle. Aren’t they just fantastic? Delightful little suckers. xoReplyCancel
