senior photos Cape Cod style

Emily wanted Hydrangeas for her senior photos. Being on Cape Cod, you’d think that’d be easy, we’re like the Hydrangea capital of the world, and if we’re not, we totally should be. They are happy as clams here. But they’re hard to find in places where you can take portraits it seems. Though I have a couple of spots up my sleeve now…

After some back and forths, we found some beautiful flowers for her session. Emily was a delight. Quiet, but in a lovely calming way, I believe she’s an example of still waters running deep and all that. We had a beautiful day. A bit windy. Okay, maybe a lot windy, but at least it kept those pesky bugs away!!!

I’m looking forward to photographing some seniors this summer, it is bound to be a unique summer I think, but there are already leaves coming out on the Hydrangea bushes, so they’re still happy campers it seems, and our title of Hydrangea capital is safe. Even if it’s only me that knows it to be true. 🙂
