What to wear for your Cape Cod family portrait

It’s a rainy day here on Cape Cod (we’re getting all of the rain out of the way before summer arrives) 🙂 My daughter is desperately hoping for a ton of snow days, she’s a senior, she doesn’t have to make them up! I’m glad today wasn’t on her side!! So here I am, trying to do the always important tasks of organizing and posting and the like.

Decided to share a couple of beautiful colour palettes from some families that I’ve photographed here on our beautiful Cape Cod beaches. I love the classic, light blues, khakis, jeans, whites, but I equally love a fun bit of pattern or unexpectedness as in the photo of the cousins walking the beach. The range of greens/blues/turquoises and teals in the large family is just stunning.
