Sometimes it’s all about Pinterest. I happen to love Pinterest. I love when my photos get repinned hundreds, sometimes thousands of times. My top pinned image is on over 6000 boards. That is just so crazy to me. It’s one of my high school senior photos, a gorgeous girl lying on her tummy in the sand, the perfect Cape Cod senior portrait.
I have a bunch that get repinned daily, it gives me such a geeky thrill every time I open my account and people are adding my photos to their boards. Family portraits on Cape Cod, large family groups, senior photos, portrait clothing ideas, and some of my personal images too.
I even booked my first family portrait session last summer after being found on Pinterest!
My daughter and I went out photographing the other day, just for fun, it is the first time I expressly went out with the intention to create images for one of my boards. Camera love.
We tried to go to the beach but it was so crazy windy, that we opted for a local cranberry bog. The images in my head are still there. Guess we’ll have to go again! But I happen to love these. I mean honestly, the subject matter is a camera in the hand my amazing daughter. What’s not to love, my two favorite things?
I am as eclectic on Pinterest as I am everywhere else. You’ll find mostly photography through out all of my boards, from Cape Cod beach portraits of families and children, to high school senior photos, to photos of stone circles, the ocean, Johnny Depp (!), gorgeous gardens, seasons, the earth and sky, travel. But then there are a few boards that I have just to make me happy… You’ll have to take a peek to see what other things take my fancy.
Quite a few of my blog posts are because I want to include a photo on one of my boards, so I write a story about it. Today’s story is the first time I’ve just thrown it right out there. No hiding. Sometimes, it’s all about Pinterest. Like today. Go check out my boards, and pin one of my images, you’ll totally make my day!
Or better, let’s create an portrait for you that I can add to one of my boards, and then you can repin! That would be just perfect!
