Today is the first day of winter. As I was walking my dog this morning, I realized there are so many things I love about winter on Cape Cod. As we walked along, we saw so many birds nests that are hidden most of the rest of the year. I love birds nests. I find them incredibly fascinating, and simply lovely. As I got on my tippy toes to take a quick snap with my phone, I loved the fact that the nest was filled with Bittersweet berries, a little decoration for Christmas perhaps?
